Artist Analysis
The artist did a very fine job on the dragon. The colors really match the climate and the area. They show the shading of where the sun isn't and the highlights that mimic the sun moving. The claws are well drawn and so are the horns. The face that they drew for the baby dragon was a really good idea. The most inspirational piece about this drawing for me was the chest and scales. The lining of the rib cage and the scales on the back are a great way to show how a dragon should look. The wings are well done as well. The skeleton like wings make it more of a mixed dragon that is a lot more fun to look at and it is pretty cool. I have mixed feelings about this drawing. I like it for inspiration, but it would be very difficult to create in 3D.
